The Liam Gough Football Development Programme was created with one goal in mind — to deliver elite-level coaching that balances technical progression with competitive excellence. Our programme is designed for players of all abilities, from grassroots beginners to academy hopefuls, and is underpinned by a clear philosophy: development must lead to achievement.
Every session, course and video inside the programme is built with long-term progression in mind. We don’t just focus on skill — we cultivate mentality, discipline, and high standards in every player we work with. Through a mixture of one-to-one coaching, small group training, team sessions and online video subscriptions, we make world-class football development accessible both on and off the pitch.
What sets us apart? Practical experience. Our sessions draw from real coaching knowledge gained at some of the UK’s top football academies. Whether you train with us in person or through the app, you’re not just getting drills — you’re getting proven methods developed through years of hands-on coaching.

My name is Liam Gough, and football has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve played at a strong semi-professional level for clubs including Vauxhall Motors and Connah’s Quay Nomads, but it was during my playing career that I found a deeper passion — coaching.
At the age of 23, I began coaching alongside playing and quickly discovered that my purpose went beyond the pitch. I thrive on helping young players grow — technically, tactically, and mentally. I believe that development without direction is incomplete; there needs to be an end goal. For me, that’s success. Not just winning games, but achieving milestones, reaching potential, and demanding the very best from yourself.
I’ve coached across the UK and internationally, with time spent in Japan and Norway, learning how to adapt coaching techniques to different cultures, languages, and environments. This global experience taught me how to communicate beyond words — to demonstrate, to engage, and to understand what young players truly need to succeed.
